Matt Atkins Training and Development is run by Matt Atkins. An experienced physical education teacher of 18 years, Matt was Head of PE at The Appleton School, Benfleet from 2001 to 2014, where his teaching was graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Physical Education, Sports Science and Mathematics from Loughborough University, Matt attained his PGCE in Physical Education and completed a master’s degree with distinction in Sport Science: Fitness and Health at Essex University.

Matt is also the author of online ITT resources for Hibernia, an External Tutor for The TES Institute, the Lead Subject Mentor for PE at the Colchester Teacher Training Consortium, an Ofqual External Expert and a Senior Moderator and Team Leader for a Major Examination Board.
